Conservation

The more I photograph, the more I am interested in conservation and photography. We are at a crossroads, and whatever I can do to change our behavior I am all for. My conservation photography started as conversations about my fine art photographs in galleries. People often ask "Where is that?", and then after I answered "Alaska" or wherever, I would ask them "Have you been there?" More often than not, it would be no. I want people to go to these locations and take in the vistas in person. We are only going to protect and care about places and things we have a connection with.
